Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — €4.40, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the €14.95 – €19.95 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.
That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.
Virtually the whole Switch 1 library plays on the Switch 2. That backwards compatibility is the main reason a physical cartridge collection is still worth building.
No. The Switch has no region lock at all, so a European cartridge plays on any Switch in the world and the other way round.
No. A cartridge plays straight from the card. Only online multiplayer and patches need a connection, and online play also needs a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
No. The Switch stores saves on the console rather than on the card, so every cartridge you get from us starts fresh on your machine.
Far less than Game Boy or DS cartridges: the security is harder to copy, and genuine cards carry a bitter coating that counterfeiters rarely reproduce. We check every card anyway.
