Which Metroid game should I play first?
For 2D: Zero Mission (GBA) or the modern Dread on Switch. For 3D: Metroid Prime — ideally the Remastered Switch release, or the original GameCube disc if you collect. Samus Returns (3DS) is the bridge between eras.
Are old Metroid saves reliable?
It varies by platform: Game Boy and SNES entries use battery-backed saves that can be empty after decades, while DS and 3DS entries save to flash. We test saving on every unit and describe the result honestly.
Why do GameCube Metroid Prime discs vary so much in price?
Condition. The GameCube’s mini-discs scratch easily and the Prime games are in demand, so a clean, read-tested disc with box and manual commands a premium over a loose scratched one.
Are Metroid games region-locked?
Game Boy and GBA entries are region-free. GameCube, Wii, DS-era consoles vary, and 3DS entries are region-locked — we sell European (PAL) versions, which work on any European system.
