For most games, yes — many use it as a second screen and some require it outright. Buying a console from us? The GamePad is included.
Does the Wii U play Wii games?
Yes, the Wii U is backwards compatible with virtually the whole Wii library and works with Wii Remotes and accessories.
Why are some Wii U games so expensive?
Small print runs. The console sold around 13 million units worldwide, so physical copies of later titles are genuinely scarce — especially complete in box. Exclusives without a Switch port, like Wind Waker HD, are the clearest example.
Are Wii U games region-locked?
Yes — we sell European (PAL) discs, which work on any European Wii U console.
