Good to know before you buy
Do DS games work on the 3DS and 2DS?
Yes — every Nintendo 3DS and 2DS plays original DS games. The other way around does not work: 3DS cartridges do not fit a DS.
Are Nintendo DS games region-locked?
Regular DS games are region-free, so a European cartridge plays on any DS worldwide. The handful of DSi-enhanced titles (Pokémon Black/White among them) are region-locked on DSi and 3DS consoles — we sell European (PAL) versions, so on a European system everything simply works.
Do old DS saves still work?
Yes. DS cartridges save to flash memory instead of a battery, so saves stay reliable even twenty years on. We test saving and loading on every cartridge anyway.
How do I avoid fake DS games?
Buy tested. Pokémon titles especially are counterfeited at scale — wrong shell stamps, blurry labels, boards that lose saves. Every cartridge here passes a physical authenticity check before it is listed; if one ever turns out not to be genuine, you get your money back.
What does shipping to my country cost?
We ship tracked to all 27 EU countries: single games from €14,95 to Germany, France, Italy and Spain, €15,95 to Denmark and €15,95 to Sweden. The exact rate for your country appears at checkout before you pay.
