About this item

Originele doos zonder game (Infogrames, Franse/Nederlandse uitgave).

One of a kind — only reserved at checkout

30-day working guarantee · personally tested

Shipping ₪125.19 — your parcel leaves the Netherlands.

Order more than one and you share the shipping: a second game rides along free.

Goods worth up to US$75 (shipping not counted) arrive without VAT or duty. Above US$75, Israel charges 18% VAT, collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee; above US$500 customs duty can be added — none of this is included in the price at checkout.

Crossing the border costs you more and takes longer. That you accept that anyway means a great deal to me.

Shipping to Israel

Small parcel (1-3 games), tracked: ₪125.19
Parcel (console / 4+ items), tracked: ₪187.86
Delivery time: 8-15 working days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses a customs border, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Goods worth up to US$75 (shipping not counted) arrive without VAT or duty. Above US$75, Israel charges 18% VAT, collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee; above US$500 customs duty can be added too — none of this is included in the price at checkout.

On your console in Israel: Game Boy games have no region lock, so this European (PAL) edition plays on any Game Boy, whatever region it is from.

Israel is outside the EU. If the goods in your parcel are worth US$75 or less, you pay nothing: personal imports up to that value are exempt, and shipping does not count towards it. From US$75 up to US$500, customs duty is waived but Israel charges 18% VAT (and purchase tax where it applies), collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee. Above US$500 the parcel is treated as a regular import, and customs duty and purchase tax can be added. Parcels from the same sender within 72 hours count together. None of this is included in the price at checkout. You pay in Israeli shekels — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — ₪15.32, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the ₪125.19 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

Why you still remember this

The little screen you turned towards the street light

Playing in the back seat and hoping another lamp post would come before you reached that one tricky bit. Batteries that always ran out at the worst moment. And then came a Game Boy with colour, and you looked back at years of grey with different eyes.

One copy, this copy. Where a game saves its progress, it does so on a little battery in the cartridge — thirty years on, that’s the difference between carrying on and starting over.

Frequently asked questions about Asterix

Is Asterix original?

Yes, this is a 100% original Game Boy / Color product. Every item is personally checked for authenticity before it ships.

What condition is Asterix in?

This is the original box with its booklets — without the game itself. Condition: Used — good condition. Box and booklets are personally checked for authenticity and show wear that fits their age.

How fast will Asterix be shipped?

Asterix goes out with PostNL on the next working day after your order and reaches you within 8-15 working days, with tracking. Shipping: ₪125.19.

Can I return it?

Yes, you have 30 days to change your mind — more than the 14 days the law requires. Return shipping is at your own cost, unless the item is faulty or we made a mistake — then we pay it.

How much does Asterix cost?

Asterix (Used — good condition) costs ₪313.22 at Gameshop Enter. Shipping: ₪125.19. Pay securely with Credit card or PayPal.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay with Credit card or PayPal. The price you see is the price you are charged, in Israeli shekels — our prices follow the ECB exchange rate at a fixed shop rate. Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work, and your bank converts nothing. All payments are processed securely and encrypted by Mollie, a payment provider licensed by the Dutch central bank (De Nederlandsche Bank).

Do I get a warranty on Asterix?

You have 30 days to change your mind (more than the law requires). Note: this is only the original box with booklets — no game — so there is no working warranty on a game. We do check the box and booklets personally for authenticity. Not as described on arrival? Free replacement or a refund.

How is Asterix packed and shipped?

The boxed copy first goes into a box protector, then into bubble wrap and a sturdy shipping box. PostNL tracking included. Shipped on the next working day after payment.

Will I pay customs or import duties?

Will Asterix work on my Game Boy / Color?

Note: this is only the original box with booklets — there is no playable game included. You are buying the packaging and booklets (ideal for completing a loose cartridge), not a game to play on your Game Boy / Color.

Is the manual included with Asterix?

This is delivered as "Empty box only (no game)": the original box with its booklets, but without the game itself. The photos show exactly what is included.

Do you have more Game Boy / Color games?

Yes, we have a large Game Boy / Color collection. All games are original and personally tested.
