- Israel is outside the EU. If the goods in your parcel are worth US$75 or less, you pay nothing: personal imports up to that value are exempt, and shipping does not count towards it. From US$75 up to US$500, customs duty is waived but Israel charges 18% VAT (and purchase tax where it applies), collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee.
