Who does this

Every game goes through one pair of hands.

I have collected myself since 2018. I know what a real label looks like, whether a Pokémon save survives the console being switched off, and how to spot a fake EEPROM. That is why I test every game before it goes out the door.

Lenn HodesEnter (Overijssel), since 2019
Tested on real hardware
Save battery, cartridge label and whether the booklet is there. No “works as described” — it has been switched on here.
Six authenticity checks
Screw type, label print, memory chip, circuit board, weight and save test. Reproductions are a plague; they do not get through.
Shipped from Enter (Netherlands)
From a personal archive, not a dropshipping warehouse. PostNL with Track & Trace, to the whole EU.

Rates are based on the official PostNL rates (2026). GST and import charges above NZ$1,000 are not included — see the rules below. There is no free shipping to New Zealand: a parcel across the world always costs postage.

Ordering from New Zealand — the rules

What you want to know before you buy: customs, console region, power, payment and returns — no small print.

Customs & GST

New Zealand is outside the EU. Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border: we are not registered for New Zealand GST, so nothing is added — Customs may only apply a small import levy of a few dollars per consignment. Above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee, collected before delivery. None of this is included in the price at checkout.

Will it play on my console?

Our games are European PAL editions. Australia and New Zealand share that Nintendo region with Europe, so they run on local consoles — including the region-locked systems (3DS, Wii, Wii U, GameCube, N64, SNES, NES). Game Boy, DS, Switch, PS4 and PS5 are region-free anyway.

Power & plugs

Consoles come with a European power supply (230 V), the same voltage as New Zealand. Only the plug differs: a travel adapter for the Type I socket is all you need.

Payment

You pay in New Zealand dollars — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.

Returns

30 days to return, to our address in the Netherlands. Mark the customs form of the return parcel “returned goods”, so no Dutch import tax is charged.

Shipped from the Netherlands

  • Your order leaves our own stock in Enter, the Netherlands, and travels to you with PostNL — always tracked, so you know exactly where your parcel is.
  • New Zealand is outside the EU.
  • Not what you hoped for after all? Send it back within 30 days to our Dutch address — more generous than the 14 days the law requires.
Delivery time to New Zealand8-14 business days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the world, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border (Customs may apply a small levy of a few dollars); above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee before delivery — none of it is included in the price at checkout.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — NZ$8.81, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the NZ$81.95 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Frequently asked from New Zealand

Do you ship to New Zealand?

Yes. Every order leaves our stock in Enter, the Netherlands, on the next working day and travels to New Zealand with PostNL, delivered by NZ Post — always tracked to your door. Delivery time 8-14 business days.

What does shipping to New Zealand cost?

NZ$81.95 for 1-3 games and NZ$139.98 for a console or 4+ items. That is the PostNL rate for an international parcel plus packaging; there is no free shipping to New Zealand. You see the exact amount in your cart as soon as you choose New Zealand — and that is exactly what you pay.

Will I pay GST or customs duty?

Not on orders up to NZ$1,000: we are not registered for New Zealand GST, so nothing is added at the border — Customs may only apply a small import levy of a few dollars per consignment. Above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee, collected before delivery. None of this is included in the price at checkout.

How can I pay from New Zealand?

Through Mollie, a payment provider regulated by the Dutch Central Bank: Credit card or PayPal, and on your phone Apple Pay and Google Pay. You pay in New Zealand dollars at our fixed shop rate — your bank converts nothing. The payment page appears in English.

Are the games authentic?

Every cartridge is personally tested and checked for authenticity before it goes online — label finish, product code, weight and a working save function, plus the security screw and the board inside on Game Boy cartridges. If you ever receive a fake from us: money back.

Do PAL games from the Netherlands work on my New Zealand console?

Yes. Our games are European PAL editions, and New Zealand shares that Nintendo region with Europe — so they run on local consoles, including the region-locked systems (3DS, Wii, Wii U, GameCube, N64, SNES, NES). Game Boy, GBC, GBA, DS, Switch, PS4 and PS5 are region-free anyway. Product pages state the region for every item.

Do the consoles work on New Zealand power?

Yes. Consoles come with a European power supply for 230 V — the same voltage as New Zealand. Only the plug shape differs: a travel adapter for the Type I socket is all you need, no voltage converter.

What about returns from New Zealand?

You have 30 days to return your order — more generous than the 14-day EU legal minimum. Send us a message and we will sort it out together; the return goes to our address in the Netherlands. Mark the customs form “returned goods” so no Dutch import tax is charged. If something does not work, the return is on us.
