Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border: we are not registered for New Zealand GST, so nothing is added — Customs may only apply a small import levy of a few dollars per consignment. Above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee, collected before delivery. None of this is included in the price at checkout.
- You pay in New Zealand dollars — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.
- 30 days to return, to our address in the Netherlands. Mark the customs form of the return parcel “returned goods”, so no Dutch import tax is charged.
- Our games are European PAL editions. Australia and New Zealand share that Nintendo region with Europe, so they run on local consoles — including the region-locked systems (3DS, Wii, Wii U, GameCube, N64, SNES, NES). Game Boy, DS, Switch, PS4 and PS5 are region-free anyway.

Region-locked: a game only plays on a console from the same region. Our copies are European (PAL) releases unless the name says otherwise, so they play on any console bought in Europe. Exceptions and the region of each copy are listed on the product page.
Does saving still work?
Saves are stored on the console, not on the game itself — so there is no battery that can run out.
Which language will I play in?
European releases on this platform are usually multilingual: at start-up you choose English, French, German, Spanish or Italian, among others. Where a copy’s language is certain, the product page states it.
