Used retro games — original & tested
Personally tested · Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking — no GST or duty on orders up to NZ$1,000 · 8-14 working days
Welcome, New Zealand — lovely to have you here.
What you can expect when you order from here, in short:
- Tracked PostNL parcel from the Netherlands: NZ$81.95 for 1-3 games, NZ$139.98 for a console or 4+ items — delivered in 8-14 business days.
- New Zealand is outside the EU. Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border: we are not registered for New Zealand GST, so nothing is added — Customs may only apply a small import levy of a few dollars per consignment. Above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee, collected before delivery. None of this is included in the price at checkout.
- You pay in New Zealand dollars — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.
- 30 days to return, to our address in the Netherlands. Mark the customs form of the return parcel “returned goods”, so no Dutch import tax is charged.
- Our games are European PAL editions. Australia and New Zealand share that Nintendo region with Europe, so they run on local consoles — including the region-locked systems (3DS, Wii, Wii U, GameCube, N64, SNES, NES). Game Boy, DS, Switch, PS4 and PS5 are region-free anyway.

Retro games: good to know
Our retro department at a glance: the most sought-after items per platform, with the link to that platform’s full grid under each row. All pre-owned, from our own stock.
100% original — authenticity check on every item. Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking — no GST or duty on orders up to NZ$1,000.

Will this work on my console?
It depends on the platform: Game Boy, GBA, DS and Switch are region-free; 3DS, N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U are region-locked. Our copies are European (PAL) releases unless the name says otherwise, and play on any console bought in Europe. The region is listed with each copy.
Does saving still work?
On this platform, games that save often do so through an internal battery — and after 20+ years that battery can be dead. We test saving before sale and state the condition honestly on the product page.
Which language will I play in?
It depends on the platform: on DS, 3DS, Wii and Switch, European releases are usually multilingual; on Game Boy, GBA and N64 the language is fixed per cartridge. Where a copy’s language is certain, the product page states it.
What’s included?
Each listing states exactly what’s included — loose cartridge or disc, or complete in box with manual — and the condition is described per copy.
Are the items genuine and tested?
100% original — authenticity check on every item. 30-day working guarantee · personally tested.
Shipped from the Netherlands
- Your order leaves our own stock in Enter, the Netherlands, and travels to you with PostNL — always tracked, so you know exactly where your parcel is.
We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the world, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border (Customs may apply a small levy of a few dollars); above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee before delivery — none of it is included in the price at checkout.
I hope Gameshop Enter gives you back a piece of how it used to be.
