Who does this

Every game goes through one pair of hands.

I have collected myself since 2018. I know what a real label looks like, whether a Pokémon save survives the console being switched off, and how to spot a fake EEPROM. That is why I test every game before it goes out the door.

Tested on real hardware
Save battery, cartridge label and whether the booklet is there. No “works as described” — it has been switched on here.
Six authenticity checks
Screw type, label print, memory chip, circuit board, weight and save test. Reproductions are a plague; they do not get through.
Shipped from Enter (Netherlands)
From a personal archive, not a dropshipping warehouse. PostNL with Track & Trace, to the whole EU.

Ordering from the United States — the rules

What you want to know before you buy: where we are, why shipping costs what it costs, which cartridges play on a US console, customs, payment and returns — no small print.

Where we are & why shipping costs what it costs

We are a one-man shop in Enter, in the east of the Netherlands (EU). Every parcel crosses the Atlantic by PostNL international post — tracked, insured, customs cleared — and that service is priced per parcel. Two or three games share one shipping charge, so ordering a few titles at once costs the same postage.

Customs & import duties

The 12.5% US import duty is calculated on the goods and added at checkout; PostNL delivers duties-paid, so nothing is due at the door.

Paying from the US

Credit card or PayPal — every price here is in US dollars and you pay in US dollars. Our dollar prices follow the ECB exchange rate; what you see is what is charged, and your bank converts nothing.

Returns

30 days to return your order, tracked back to the Netherlands — one message and we sort it out together.

Shipped from the Netherlands

  • Your order leaves our own stock in Enter, the Netherlands, and travels to you with PostNL — always tracked, so you know exactly where your parcel is.
  • Import duties are included — nothing extra to pay on delivery.
  • Not what you hoped for after all? Send it back within 30 days to our Dutch address — more generous than the 14 days the law requires.
Delivery time to the United States6-10 business days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the ocean, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. US import duties are calculated at checkout and prepaid — nothing is due on delivery.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — $4.93, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the $38.05 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Secure payment

  • Payment via Mollie — regulated by the Dutch central bank, encrypted.
  • Authenticity guarantee: if a game is ever fake, money back.

  • Margin scheme — no VAT on the invoice.

You pay in US dollars

Questions from American buyers

Do you ship to the United States?

Yes — every order ships tracked via PostNL from the Netherlands to all fifty states, in 6-10 business days. The exact rate is shown at checkout before you pay, and that is exactly what you pay.

What does shipping to the US cost?

$38.05 for a small parcel (1-3 games) and $59.35 for a full parcel (a console or 4+ items), always with door-to-door tracking. Two or three games share one shipping charge.

Do I pay customs or import duties?

The United States charges import duty on every parcel from abroad since 2025. We settle it for you: the 12.5% US import duty is calculated on the value of the goods and added at checkout, and PostNL delivers the parcel duties-paid — nothing is due at the door and the carrier never sends you a bill.

Do European Pokémon games work on an American Game Boy, GBA, DS or Switch?

Yes. Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and Nintendo Switch cartridges have no region lock, so a European (PAL) cartridge plays on a US console exactly like a US cartridge. One exception: Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 are DSi-enhanced and therefore region-locked on a DSi, 3DS or 2DS — on an original DS or DS Lite they play regardless of region.

Will a PAL N64, GameCube, Wii or 3DS game work on my US console?

No. Those systems are region-locked: a European (PAL) cartridge or disc does not play on an American (NTSC) console. We do stock US copies of some of these games — they are marked NTSC-U in the title, and every product page says in plain words whether that copy plays on a US console.

Are the games in English?

Yes, unless the product name says otherwise (German edition, Japanese edition). Up to and including the DS every Pokémon game runs in one language per cartridge, and our copies are the English edition; on the Switch the European edition lets you pick English at start-up. The box and manual are the European print, with the PEGI rating instead of the ESRB one.

How can I pay from the US?

Through Mollie, a payment provider regulated by the Dutch Central Bank. At checkout you pay with Credit card or PayPal — in US dollars. Every price in this shop is in dollars, and the amount you see is exactly what is charged: our dollar prices follow the ECB exchange rate (we only move them when the rate shifts by more than 1%), so your bank converts nothing. Prefer to pay in euros? You can switch at checkout.

Why does shipping to the US cost what it costs?

Your parcel leaves our own stock in Enter, a village in the east of the Netherlands (European Union), and crosses the Atlantic by PostNL international parcel — tracked door to door, insured, and handed to USPS for the last mile. That service is priced per parcel by PostNL, not by us, and it includes the customs paperwork: the 12.5% US import duty is calculated at checkout and prepaid, so nothing is due at the door. Two or three games share one shipping charge, which is why most US customers order a few titles at once.

Are the games authentic?

Every cartridge is personally tested and checked for authenticity before it goes online — label finish, product code, weight and a working save function, plus the security screw and the board inside on Game Boy cartridges. We have been doing this since 2019, with 1400+ verified reviews at a 4.8★ average. If you ever receive a fake from us: money back.

What about returns?

You have 30 days to return your order. Send us a message or an e-mail and we will sort it out together — a personal reply, usually within a few hours. The return goes back to the Netherlands by tracked post.
