It depends on the platform: Game Boy, GBA, DS and Switch are region-free; 3DS, N64, GameCube, Wii and Wii U are region-locked. Our copies are European (PAL) releases unless the name says otherwise, and play on any console bought in Europe. The region is listed with each copy.
Does saving still work?
On this platform, games that save often do so through an internal battery — and after 20+ years that battery can be dead. We test saving before sale and state the condition honestly on the product page.
Which language will I play in?
It depends on the platform: on DS, 3DS, Wii and Switch, European releases are usually multilingual; on Game Boy, GBA and N64 the language is fixed per cartridge. Where a copy’s language is certain, the product page states it.
