Shipping to Kuwait

Small parcel (1-3 games), tracked: €35.95
Parcel (console / 4+ items), tracked: €53.95
Delivery time: 13-26 working days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the world, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Kuwait has no VAT; Kuwaiti customs usually charges 5% import duty on the value of the goods, collected by Kuwait Post before delivery — it is not included in the price at checkout.

On your console in Kuwait: Nintendo 64 games are region-locked: this European (PAL) edition plays on a European (PAL) Nintendo 64 — check the region of your console, or ask us in the chat.

Kuwait is outside the EU and has no VAT. Kuwaiti customs usually charges 5% import duty on the value of the goods; Kuwait Post collects it before delivery. It is not included in the price at checkout. You pay in euros — Credit card or PayPal. Mollie does not process Kuwaiti dinars; next to every price you see the approximate amount in dinars, and your card converts the euro amount at its own rate.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — €4.40, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the €35.95 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

About this product

Perfect Dark for Nintendo 64 — original Nintendo retro, personally checked.

Rare’s successor to GoldenEye: as agent Joanna Dark you take on dataDyne and an alien conspiracy, with co-op, a “counter-op” mode in which a second player controls the enemies, and bots in multiplayer — the campaign requires the Expansion Pak.

With its original box — increasingly hard to find in this condition and a highlight in any collection. Cartridge cleaned and tested on original hardware, ready to play. Clear signs of use on the item, described honestly — the game works perfectly.

The Nintendo 64 came out in 1996: 64-bit graphics and the analogue stick that made 3D control the console standard — Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye. On the original cartridge the game runs the way it was meant to — and keeps working for years to come.

Who is this for? Anyone who would rather play on a real Nintendo 64 than in an emulator — collectors who want the original in their hands, and players who simply want that feeling back.

Nintendo 64 games are region-locked: this European (PAL) edition plays on a European (PAL) Nintendo 64 — check the region of your console, or ask us in the chat. Every item passes our authenticity check (shell, board, Nintendo markings) and a function test — you're buying 100% original Nintendo.

Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking to Kuwait: from €53.95; no VAT in Kuwait, customs usually charges 5% duty on delivery. 30-day returns.

Seen it cheaper elsewhere?

For most titles there’s also a private listing online, sometimes a few euros cheaper. The difference isn’t in the title, but in the copy itself and in everything around it.

Does it work?: Here: Has been running here — save and label checked — before it went online.; Private seller: ‘Works’ in the photo. You test it yourself, after buying.
Is it genuine?: Here: Six checks: screw, label, circuit board, weight, save and boot. A reproduction doesn’t get through.; Private seller: Fakes are a plague with Pokémon and GBA games, and in a photo you can’t tell the difference.
If it disappoints?: Here: 30-day cooling-off period, and a 30-day warranty that it works.; Private seller: No right of withdrawal: consumer law doesn’t apply between private individuals. Buyer protection only covers the first 48 hours after delivery; after that you’re on your own.
Who’s behind it?: Here: One person, who has held this game personally and answers your question personally.; Private seller: Varies per listing.

Why you still remember this

Blowing into the cartridge, and then it worked

That strange three-pronged controller you never quite held right, four ports for four friends, and the Saturdays when the TV belonged to nobody else.

One copy, this copy. You buy an N64 cartridge once; they haven’t been made new for twenty-five years.

Compatibility — Nintendo 64

For the campaign and nearly every mode you need the Expansion Pak (4 MB of extra memory in the front of your Nintendo 64); without it you only play a limited multiplayer part.

Compatibility overview for Perfect Dark: which consoles this cartridge works on.
Console	Works?	Details
Nintendo 64 PAL with Expansion Pak	Yes	The red memory pak (NUS-007) in the front
Nintendo 64 PAL with only the Jumper Pak	No	Not enough memory
Nintendo 64 NTSC (USA/JP)	No	Only works with NTSC cartridges

Nintendo 64 PAL with Expansion Pak: The red memory pak (NUS-007) in the front
Nintendo 64 PAL with only the Jumper Pak: Not enough memory
Nintendo 64 NTSC (USA/JP): Only works with NTSC cartridges

Please note

•PAL cartridges have physical key tabs that block NTSC consoles (and vice versa) — this is at hardware level.
•Mods exist (region-free chip), but our stock is PAL as standard and meant for EU consoles.

Authenticity check

How we test Nintendo 64 games for authenticity

N64 cartridges (1996-2002) are premium collector’s items. Fakes exist for top games (Mario 64, Ocarina, Smash). We go through these five steps. Every Nintendo 64 game in our shop goes through this five-step check before it is sold.

1
3.8 mm gamebit screws
Original N64 cartridges are closed with two 3.8 mm gamebit screws on the back — the same size as NES and SNES cartridges (the 4.5 mm belongs to the consoles themselves). Counterfeits sometimes have Phillips screws or no screw at all (glue).
2
Cartridge plastic + label
Original: thick plastic, matte finish, label sharply printed without colour deviations. Fakes are often shiny or the wrong colour (especially Pokémon Stadium 2 + Mario 64).
3
PCB seal + chip configuration
Open it with a 3.8 mm gamebit. The PCB has Nintendo engraved + the correct chip layout. Fakes have generic chips or fake branding.
4
Cartridge weight ~90-120 grams
An original N64 cartridge weighs about 90 to 120 grams — most around 90-92, the big ones (Pokémon Stadium 2, Smash Bros.) towards 120 (measured range). Counterfeits with thinner plastic are lighter.
5
Starting up and saving
Insert it into an N64. The game loads to the title screen within 3 to 5 seconds. Save (where possible) → eject → reload → persists. Fake: corrupted save, crashes at iconic events.

What we see with Nintendo 64 games

Our experience

N64 cartridges (1996-2002) have become sought-after collector’s items. Fakes exist for top games (Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros). We check the 3.8 mm gamebit screws, the Nintendo seal on the circuit board and the start-up. Many cartridges have wear on the contact pins after 25+ years — they need cleaning with isopropyl alcohol first.

Our tip

N64 cartridges are region-locked: a USA cartridge does NOT work on a PAL N64 without modification. We state the region for every product. The PAL version runs at 50 Hz, the American one at 60 Hz — the latter plays noticeably smoother.

About this specific copy

About the Nintendo 64

The Nintendo 64 (1996) is the console that revolutionised 3D gaming. With 33 million units sold, the N64 was a modest commercial success, but its games — Super Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye 007 — have become icons. Cartridges instead of CDs make N64 games durable: they still work perfectly after 30 years.

4 MB of RAM in the standard configuration, expandable to 8 MB with the Expansion Pak — Majora’s Mask and Donkey Kong 64 require it.
Almost 300 physical games released in Europe (PAL region).
The analogue stick on the controller was a revolution and became the standard for everything that followed.
GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Bros. defined multiplayer gaming.

Our tip: N64 on a modern TV: a line doubler such as the RetroTINK or an HDMI mod gives the sharpest picture. Composite RCA works, but gives a blurry picture on 4K TVs.

How much does Perfect Dark cost?

Perfect Dark (Used — poor condition) costs €125.95 at Gameshop Enter. Shipping: €53.95. Pay securely with Credit card or PayPal.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay with Credit card or PayPal. All payments are processed securely and encrypted by Mollie, a payment provider licensed by the Dutch central bank (De Nederlandsche Bank).

Is Perfect Dark PAL or NTSC?

Perfect Dark is a PAL version (Europe) and works on every European Nintendo 64 without modification. The Nintendo 64 is region-locked — an American or Japanese release would not work on a European console, this European copy does.

Do I get a warranty on Perfect Dark?

Yes. Every game is personally tested before it ships (start-up, saving, multiplayer where relevant) and comes with a 30-day working warranty from Gameshop Enter, plus 30 days to change your mind (more than the law requires). If it is faulty: free replacement or a refund — return shipping on us.

How is Perfect Dark packed and shipped?

The boxed copy first goes into a box protector, then into bubble wrap and a sturdy shipping box. PostNL tracking included. Shipped on the next working day after payment.

Will I pay customs or import duties?

Kuwait has no VAT. Kuwaiti customs usually charges 5% import duty on the value of the goods, collected by Kuwait Post before delivery — it is not included in the price at checkout.

Will Perfect Dark work on my Nintendo 64?

Yes, it works on: Nintendo 64 (PAL) + Expansion Pak.

Is the manual included with Perfect Dark?

This is delivered as "Game in original box". The original box is included. A manual may be included too, but we do not guarantee it separately — which is why we call it "Game in original box" and not "complete in box".

Does Perfect Dark have a save battery that can run flat?

Only games with a save function have one: a CR2025 in Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges, a CR2032 in the N64 titles that save to SRAM — they usually last 10 to 20 years. A game that works with passwords or high scores has no battery to run flat. For every game with a save we test saving before it ships: make a save, switch off, load again. If the battery runs flat later, it can be replaced: within 30 days of purchase we do it for free.

Do you have more Nintendo 64 games?

Yes, we have a large Nintendo 64 collection. All games are original and personally tested.

I hope Gameshop Enter gives you back a piece of how it used to be.

That it’s soon in your hands again and feels exactly the way you remember it — that’s what this shop was started for.
