Order more than one and you share the shipping: a second game rides along free.

Goods worth up to US$75 (shipping not counted) arrive without VAT or duty. Above US$75, Israel charges 18% VAT, collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee; above US$500 customs duty can be added — none of this is included in the price at checkout.

Crossing the border costs you more and takes longer. That you accept that anyway means a great deal to me.

Shipping to Israel

Small parcel (1-3 games), tracked: ₪125.19
Parcel (console / 4+ items), tracked: ₪187.86
Delivery time: 8-15 working days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses a customs border, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Goods worth up to US$75 (shipping not counted) arrive without VAT or duty. Above US$75, Israel charges 18% VAT, collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee; above US$500 customs duty can be added too — none of this is included in the price at checkout.

On your console in Israel: Nintendo 64 games are region-locked: this European (PAL) edition plays on a European (PAL) Nintendo 64 — check the region of your console, or ask us in the chat.

Israel is outside the EU. If the goods in your parcel are worth US$75 or less, you pay nothing: personal imports up to that value are exempt, and shipping does not count towards it. From US$75 up to US$500, customs duty is waived but Israel charges 18% VAT (and purchase tax where it applies), collected by Israel Post before delivery together with a handling fee. Above US$500 the parcel is treated as a regular import, and customs duty and purchase tax can be added. Parcels from the same sender within 72 hours count together. None of this is included in the price at checkout. You pay in Israeli shekels — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — ₪15.32, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the ₪125.19 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

About this product

Killer Instinct Gold for Nintendo 64 — original Nintendo retro, personally checked.

The N64 version of Rare’s combo-heavy fighting game.

Cartridge cleaned and tested on original hardware, ready to play.

The Nintendo 64 came out in 1996: 64-bit graphics and the analogue stick that made 3D control the console standard — Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye. On the original cartridge the game runs the way it was meant to — and keeps working for years to come.

Who is this for? Anyone who would rather play on a real Nintendo 64 than in an emulator — collectors who want the original in their hands, and players who simply want that feeling back.

Nintendo 64 games are region-locked: this European (PAL) edition plays on a European (PAL) Nintendo 64 — check the region of your console, or ask us in the chat. Every item passes our authenticity check (shell, board, Nintendo markings) and a function test — you're buying 100% original Nintendo.

Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking to Israel: from ₪125.19; no VAT or duty on goods up to US$75, above that Israel Post collects 18% VAT. 30-day returns.

Seen it cheaper elsewhere?

For most titles there’s also a private listing online, sometimes a few euros cheaper. The difference isn’t in the title, but in the copy itself and in everything around it.

Does it work?: Here: Has been running here — save and label checked — before it went online.; Private seller: ‘Works’ in the photo. You test it yourself, after buying.
Is it genuine?: Here: Six checks: screw, label, circuit board, weight, save and boot. A reproduction doesn’t get through.; Private seller: Fakes are a plague with Pokémon and GBA games, and in a photo you can’t tell the difference.
If it disappoints?: Here: 30-day cooling-off period, and a 30-day warranty that it works.; Private seller: No right of withdrawal: consumer law doesn’t apply between private individuals. Buyer protection only covers the first 48 hours after delivery; after that you’re on your own.
Who’s behind it?: Here: One person, who has held this game personally and answers your question personally.; Private seller: Varies per listing.

Why you still remember this

The evening that never ended

Someone always picked the same character, someone else always complained that it wasn’t fair, and it stayed at “one more round” until it was getting light outside. This is the game friendships were measured by.

One copy, this copy. You don’t plan evenings like this — you either have the game at home or you don’t.

Will it work on my console?

Compatibility — Nintendo 64

Nintendo 64 cartridges are region-locked: PAL (Europe) cartridges only work on PAL N64 consoles, NTSC ones on NTSC consoles.

Compatibility overview for Killer Instinct Gold: which consoles this cartridge works on.
Console	Works?	Details
Nintendo 64 PAL	Yes	Works with EU cartridges (our stock is PAL)
Nintendo 64 NTSC (USA/JP)	No	Only works with NTSC cartridges

Nintendo 64 PAL: Works with EU cartridges (our stock is PAL)
Nintendo 64 NTSC (USA/JP): Only works with NTSC cartridges

Please note

•PAL cartridges have physical key tabs that block NTSC consoles (and vice versa) — this is at hardware level.
•Mods exist (region-free chip), but our stock is PAL as standard and meant for EU consoles.

Authenticity check

How we test Nintendo 64 games for authenticity

N64 cartridges (1996-2002) are premium collector’s items. Fakes exist for top games (Mario 64, Ocarina, Smash). We go through these five steps. Every Nintendo 64 game in our shop goes through this five-step check before it is sold.

1
3.8 mm gamebit screws
Original N64 cartridges are closed with two 3.8 mm gamebit screws on the back — the same size as NES and SNES cartridges (the 4.5 mm belongs to the consoles themselves). Counterfeits sometimes have Phillips screws or no screw at all (glue).
2
Cartridge plastic + label
Original: thick plastic, matte finish, label sharply printed without colour deviations. Fakes are often shiny or the wrong colour (especially Pokémon Stadium 2 + Mario 64).
3
PCB seal + chip configuration
Open it with a 3.8 mm gamebit. The PCB has Nintendo engraved + the correct chip layout. Fakes have generic chips or fake branding.
4
Cartridge weight ~90-120 grams
An original N64 cartridge weighs about 90 to 120 grams — most around 90-92, the big ones (Pokémon Stadium 2, Smash Bros.) towards 120 (measured range). Counterfeits with thinner plastic are lighter.
5
Starting up and saving
Insert it into an N64. The game loads to the title screen within 3 to 5 seconds. Save (where possible) → eject → reload → persists. Fake: corrupted save, crashes at iconic events.

What we see with Nintendo 64 games

Our experience

N64 cartridges (1996-2002) have become sought-after collector’s items. Fakes exist for top games (Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros). We check the 3.8 mm gamebit screws, the Nintendo seal on the circuit board and the start-up. Many cartridges have wear on the contact pins after 25+ years — they need cleaning with isopropyl alcohol first.

Our tip

N64 cartridges are region-locked: a USA cartridge does NOT work on a PAL N64 without modification. We state the region for every product. The PAL version runs at 50 Hz, the American one at 60 Hz — the latter plays noticeably smoother.

About the Nintendo 64

The Nintendo 64 (1996) is the console that revolutionised 3D gaming. With 33 million units sold, the N64 was a modest commercial success, but its games — Super Mario 64, Zelda Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye 007 — have become icons. Cartridges instead of CDs make N64 games durable: they still work perfectly after 30 years.

4 MB of RAM in the standard configuration, expandable to 8 MB with the Expansion Pak — Majora’s Mask and Donkey Kong 64 require it.
Almost 300 physical games released in Europe (PAL region).
The analogue stick on the controller was a revolution and became the standard for everything that followed.
GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart 64 and Super Smash Bros. defined multiplayer gaming.

Our tip: N64 on a modern TV: a line doubler such as the RetroTINK or an HDMI mod gives the sharpest picture. Composite RCA works, but gives a blurry picture on 4K TVs.

A game that works with passwords or high scores has no battery to run flat. For every game with a save we test saving before it ships: make a save, switch off, load again. If the battery runs flat later, it can be replaced: within 30 days of purchase we do it for free.

Yes, we have a large Nintendo 64 collection. All games are original and personally tested.
