Shipping NZ$139.98 — your parcel leaves the Netherlands.

Order more than one and you share the shipping: a second game rides along free.

Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border (Customs may apply a small levy of a few dollars). Above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee before delivery — none of it is included in the price at checkout.

Crossing the border costs you more and takes longer. That you accept that anyway means a great deal to me.

Shipping to New Zealand

Small parcel (1-3 games), tracked: NZ$81.95
Parcel (console / 4+ items), tracked: NZ$139.98
Delivery time: 8-14 working days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the world, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border (Customs may apply a small levy of a few dollars); above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee before delivery — none of it is included in the price at checkout.

On a New Zealand console: US console (HK): a different video standard and voltage from New Zealand — only with adapters and matching games.

New Zealand is outside the EU. Orders up to NZ$1,000 are not charged GST or duty at the border: we are not registered for New Zealand GST, so nothing is added — Customs may only apply a small import levy of a few dollars per consignment. Above NZ$1,000, New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST (plus duty where it applies) and an import entry fee, collected before delivery. None of this is included in the price at checkout. You pay in New Zealand dollars — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — NZ$8.81, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the NZ$81.95 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

About this product

Nintendo Switch OLED – Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition — the Zelda series stands for timeless adventure and belongs in every Nintendo collection.

The Tears of the Kingdom edition of 28 April 2023, two weeks before the game: the OLED model with green-and-gold Joy-Cons and the Hylian crest in gold on the white dock.

Complete with its original box — far more sought-after than a loose unit. Powered on and tested before shipping: screen, buttons and charging checked. Condition: see the photos of this exact unit — technically flawless.

The Nintendo Switch came out in 2017: docked TV mode and handheld in one — over 150 million sold. On original hardware the whole library runs the way it was meant to — no emulator stutter, no input lag.

Who is this for? Anyone looking for a tested second-hand Nintendo Switch instead of a new one, families who want a second console for the kids, and players who want to take their games with them — cartridges are region-free and not tied to an account.

US console (HK): a different video standard and voltage from New Zealand — only with adapters and matching games. Every item passes our authenticity check (shell, board, Nintendo markings) and a function test — you're buying 100% original Nintendo.

Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking to New Zealand: from NZ$139.98; no GST or duty on orders up to NZ$1,000. 30-day returns.

What we see with Nintendo Switch consoles

Our experience

With a second-hand console, the difference rarely lies in the electronics and almost always in what you see and feel: the screen, the buttons and the charging. Those are exactly the points we check on every device before it is shipped.

Our tip

With a second-hand handheld, look above all at the screen and the battery — a charger or button can still be replaced later, a damaged screen is a lot harder.

About the Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch (2017) is Nintendo’s hybrid platform — it plays both on the TV and in handheld mode. With well over 150 million units sold and a library of 12,000+ titles (physical + digital), the Switch is, together with the DS, the best-selling Nintendo platform ever. The Switch 2 (June 2025) plays almost the entire Switch library, so a cartridge bought today stays usable.

Hybrid design — TV (1080p) or handheld (720p) in the same console.
Cartridges do not wear out: a second-hand Switch game plays exactly like a new one.
The Switch 2 is backwards compatible with almost all Switch games.
Exclusive hits: Zelda Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Our tip: Physical or digital? Physical Switch cartridges can be resold (they are not tied to an account) and work on the Switch 2. For long-term ownership, physical is the smartest choice.
