Shipping to the United States

Small parcel (1-3 games), tracked: $38.05
Parcel (console / 4+ items), tracked: $59.35
Delivery time: 6-10 working days

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the ocean, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. US import duties are calculated at checkout and prepaid — nothing is due on delivery.

On a US console: European (PAL) console: it needs a 230 V power supply and outputs a PAL video signal — not suitable for use in the United States without adapters.

US import duties (12.5%) are added at checkout and prepaid — nothing is due on delivery. Prices and checkout are in US dollars at our fixed shop rate — your bank converts nothing.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — $4.93, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the $38.05 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

About this product

Wii U Premium Pack 32GB (Console with original box) — original Nintendo retro, personally checked.

The black Premium Pack with 32 GB was the larger bundle at the European launch of the Wii U on 30 November 2012, with the GamePad and stands — next to the white Basic Pack with 8 GB.

Complete with its original box — far more sought-after than a loose unit. Powered on and tested before shipping: screen, buttons and charging checked. Condition: see the photos of this exact unit — technically flawless. This console has a touchscreen with stylus. The included stylus is not always the original Nintendo one — it may also be a well-fitting replacement stylus; it works exactly the same on the screen.

The Wii U came out in 2012: GamePad with touchscreen and exclusives like Splatoon and Mario Kart 8. On original hardware the whole library runs the way it was meant to — no emulator stutter, no input lag.

Who is this for? Players who want to relive the retro era, parents passing their childhood on to their kids, and collectors completing their Wii U collection.

European (PAL) console: it needs a 230 V power supply and outputs a PAL video signal — not suitable for use in the United States without adapters. Every item passes our authenticity check (case, disc, print) and a function test — you're buying 100% original.

Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking to the US: from $59.35, import duties paid at checkout. 30-day returns.

Seen it cheaper elsewhere?

For most titles there’s also a private listing online, sometimes a few euros cheaper. The difference isn’t in the title, but in the copy itself and in everything around it.

Does it work?: Here: Screen, buttons, charging and ports checked — exactly what’s included is listed with the item.; Private seller: ‘Works fine’ — you find out at home.
Is it original?: Here: Shell and circuit board inspected; a replaced shell or screen is stated honestly.; Private seller: A replaced screen or shell is rarely mentioned.
If it disappoints?: Here: 30-day cooling-off period, and a 30-day warranty that it works.; Private seller: No right of withdrawal: consumer law doesn’t apply between private individuals. Buyer protection only covers the first 48 hours after delivery; after that you’re on your own.
Who’s behind it?: Here: One person, who has held this device personally and answers your question personally.; Private seller: Varies per listing.

What we see with Wii U consoles

Our experience

With a second-hand console, the difference rarely lies in the electronics and almost always in what you see and feel: the screen, the buttons and the charging. Those are exactly the points we check on every device before it is shipped.

Our tip

With a second-hand handheld, look above all at the screen and the battery — a charger or button can still be replaced later, a damaged screen is a lot harder.

About the Nintendo Wii U

The Wii U (2012) is Nintendo’s commercial flop — only 13.6 million units sold. But the software is top quality: Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, the original Breath of the Wild and Super Mario 3D World are outstanding titles. Many Wii U games later moved to the Switch, but not all of them.

GamePad tablet controller with its own screen — unique in the games industry.
Backwards compatible with all Wii games and Wii controllers.
Native HDMI output — works straight away on any modern TV.
Titles that never came to the Switch: Mario Party 10, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Paper Mario: Color Splash, Nintendo Land and Game & Wario — you can only play them here.

Our tip: The Wii U is one of the most affordable ways to play a wealth of Nintendo games — with the entire Wii library on top. Note: without a working GamePad the console is worth almost nothing, so buy it complete.
