We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the ocean, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. US import duties are calculated at checkout and prepaid — nothing is due on delivery.

On a US console: Game Boy Advance games have no region lock, so this US (NTSC-U) edition plays on a US Game Boy Advance.

US import duties (12.5%) are added at checkout and prepaid — nothing is due on delivery. Prices and checkout are in US dollars at our fixed shop rate — your bank converts nothing.

Why does shipping abroad cost this much?

Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — $4.93, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the $38.05 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.

That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.

Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

About this product

Pokemon Sapphire (poor condition) for Game Boy Advance — a classic from the Pokémon series, among the most sought-after Nintendo games there are.

Generation 3 on Game Boy Advance. Explore Hoenn, stop Team Aqua and catch Kyogre — the counterpart to Ruby.

Cartridge cleaned and tested on original hardware, ready to play. Clear signs of use on the item, described honestly — the game works perfectly.

The Game Boy Advance came out in 2001: 32-bit ARM processor, wide screen, backwards compatible with Game Boy and GBC games. On the original cartridge the game runs the way it was meant to — and keeps working for years to come.

Who is this for? Anyone who would rather play on a real Game Boy Advance than in an emulator — collectors who want the original in their hands, and players who simply want that feeling back.

What to know before buying a Pokémon game: Pokémon cartridges are the most counterfeited game cartridges in the world. We check every copy ourselves — the label, the screw on the back, the board inside — so you know for sure you are getting an original, not a fake. In doubt? Send us a message and we will take extra photos for you.

Game Boy Advance games have no region lock, so this US (NTSC-U) edition plays on a US Game Boy Advance. Every item passes our authenticity check (shell, board, Nintendo markings) and a function test — you're buying 100% original Nintendo.

Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking to the US: from $38.05, import duties paid at checkout. 30-day returns.

Seen it cheaper elsewhere?

For most titles there’s also a private listing online, sometimes a few euros cheaper. The difference isn’t in the title, but in the copy itself and in everything around it.

Does it work?
Here: Has been running here — save and label checked — before it went online.
Private seller: ‘Works’ in the photo. You test it yourself, after buying.
Is it genuine?
Here: Six checks: screw, label, circuit board, weight, save and boot. A reproduction doesn’t get through.
Private seller: Fakes are a plague with Pokémon and GBA games, and in a photo you can’t tell the difference.
If it disappoints?
Here: 30-day cooling-off period, and a 30-day warranty that it works.
Private seller: No right of withdrawal: consumer law doesn’t apply between private individuals. Buyer protection only covers the first 48 hours after delivery; after that you’re on your own.
Who’s behind it?
Here: One person, who has held this game personally and answers your question personally.
Private seller: Varies per listing.

Why you still remember this

The summer that fitted in one cartridge

Water, water everywhere, and finally a bike you could really go fast on. Double battles, a secret base you dug out of a wall yourself, and a Pokédex you never completed without someone who had a different version. Hoenn was the first region on the Advance, and you heard that leap in colour and sound straight away.

One copy, this copy. The original Hoenn cartridges were never reprinted. The remakes that came later are different games, on different hardware.

We run a 6-point authenticity check on every Pokémon game: (1) screw and shell — Game Boy and Game Boy Color close with a 3.8 mm gamebit screw, Game Boy Advance with a Y-shaped tri-wing; fakes often use a Phillips screw, and DS and 3DS cards are glued with no screw at all; (2) label print and colour, with a sharp Nintendo Seal; (3) the circuit board inside on Game Boy, Color and Advance — original Nintendo print and the right product code (on a DS or 3DS card: the code on the back); (4) the weight — Game Boy 18-24 g, GBA 10-13 g, DS 3.6-4.1 g; fakes with thinner plastic weigh noticeably less; (5) a save test: save, switch off, load again; (6) a play test on original hardware. Lenn has been doing this since 2019.
Does Pokemon Sapphire (poor condition) have a save battery that can run flat?
There is a CR1616 coin cell inside, but it only powers the clock: if it runs flat, time-based events stop, while your save stays on flash memory. Every game is tested for saving before it ships (make a save, switch off, load again). Not sure? Ask us in the chat.

I hope Gameshop Enter gives you back a piece of how it used to be.

That it’s soon in your hands again and feels exactly the way you remember it — that’s what this shop was started for.
