Crossing the border costs you more and takes longer. That you accept that anyway means a great deal to me.

We ship from the Netherlands: your parcel crosses the world, so it takes longer and costs more than a domestic delivery. Parcels worth up to S$400 in total (shipping included) arrive without GST or duty — we are not registered for Singapore GST, so the import relief applies. Above S$400, 9% GST is charged on the whole value and collected by SingPost before delivery — it is not included in the price at checkout.
On your console in Singapore: GameCube games are region-locked: this European (PAL) edition plays on a European (PAL) GameCube — check the region of your console, or ask us in the chat.
Singapore is outside the EU. If your parcel is worth S$400 or less in total, shipping included, no GST or duty is added: we are not registered for Singapore GST, so the import relief for postal and air shipments applies. Above S$400, Singapore charges 9% GST on the whole value (goods plus shipping), collected by SingPost before delivery, sometimes with a small handling fee. None of this is included in the price at checkout. Singapore only levies customs duty on liquor, tobacco, motor vehicles and fuel — not on games, consoles or cards. You pay in Singapore dollars — Credit card or PayPal. The amount at checkout is what your card or PayPal is charged, at our fixed shop rate; your bank converts nothing.
Why does shipping abroad cost this much?
Inside the Netherlands a single game fits through the letterbox — S$6.33, tracking included. That service stops at the border. Anything leaving the country goes with PostNL as an international parcel, which is a different and considerably more expensive service. That is where the S$51.75 comes from: the border itself is not what costs money, the cheap service simply ends there.
That amount covers the PostNL rate to your country plus the packaging: bubble mailer or box, an antistatic sleeve for the cartridge, and tape. We never drop the tracking — on a parcel that crosses a border, shipping without proof of delivery is a risk for both of us.
Without you there would be nothing to grow. Every order that comes in here is the reason this shop can get bigger — and the reason I can keep doing this.

About this product
Super Mario Sunshine for GameCube — a title from the Mario universe, a cornerstone of any Nintendo collection.
Mario on a tropical holiday with FLUDD, a water-spraying backpack. The sunny, idiosyncratic 3D adventure of the GameCube.
With its original box — increasingly hard to find in this condition and a highlight in any collection. Disc cleaned and tested, ready to play.
The GameCube came out in 2001: mini-DVD discs and exclusives like Wind Waker, Smash Melee and Metroid Prime. On the original disc the game runs the way it was meant to — and keeps working for years to come.
Who is this for? Anyone who would rather play on a real GameCube than in an emulator — collectors who want the original in their hands, and players who simply want that feeling back.
GameCube games are region-locked: this European (PAL) edition plays on a European (PAL) GameCube — check the region of your console, or ask us in the chat. Every item passes our authenticity check (case, disc, print) and a function test — you're buying 100% original.
Shipped from the Netherlands with PostNL tracking to Singapore: from S$51.75; no GST or duty on parcels up to S$400 including shipping. 30-day returns.

Seen it cheaper elsewhere?
For most titles there’s also a private listing online, sometimes a few euros cheaper. The difference isn’t in the title, but in the copy itself and in everything around it.
- Does it work?
- Here: Booted on the console itself and the disc checked for scratches before it went online.
- Private seller: ‘Works’ in the photo. You test it yourself, after buying.
- Is it genuine?
- Here: Nintendo pressing code, case and artwork checked — no burned copy.
- Private seller: A burned copy in a genuine case is impossible to spot in a photo.
- If it disappoints?
- Here: 30-day cooling-off period, and a 30-day warranty that it works.
- Private seller: No right of withdrawal: consumer law doesn’t apply between private individuals. Buyer protection only covers the first 48 hours after delivery; after that you’re on your own.
- Who’s behind it?
- Here: One person, who has held this game personally and answers your question personally.
- Private seller: Varies per listing.
Why you still remember this
The jump that’s still in your thumb
You only need to hear half a second of the opening tune and you’re sitting on the floor in front of the TV again, too close, with a controller whose cable didn’t quite reach. That one level you did twenty times until your timing was right — your fingers remember before your head does.
One copy, this copy. Second-hand means there’s no warehouse behind it: what’s here is what there is.

Compatibility — GameCube
GameCube discs work on the original GameCube and on early Wii models (the Wii has a GameCube controller and memory card slot).
| Console | Works? |
|---|---|
| Nintendo GameCube | Yes |
| Nintendo Wii (original models) | Yes |
- Nintendo GameCube: Native
- Nintendo Wii (original models): Backwards compatible — GC controller + memory card slots built in
Please note
- •The Wii "Family Edition" (RVL-101, from 2011) and the Wii Mini have NO GameCube slots — GC discs do not work on them.
- •GameCube discs are region-locked. Our stock is PAL (EU).
How we test GameCube games for authenticity
GameCube discs (2001-2007) are harder to counterfeit than cartridges, but burned copies exist. We go through these five steps. Every GameCube game in our shop goes through this five-step check before it is sold.
- 1
Disc quality + Nintendo logo
An original GCN mini-disc has a clear Nintendo logo + game artwork. A blank "white" disc with a sticker = fake/burned copy.
- 2
Case colour + label
Original case: dark grey/black (depending on region). Label on the disc and the back of the case sharply printed. Fakes: light grey case, dull grey label.
- 3
Product code DOL-XXXX
On the disc: DOL- prefix (Dolphin = the GCN codename). DOL-GZLP-EUR = Wind Waker EU. No DOL- prefix = fake.
- 4
Manual + memory card check
Original GCN games came with a manual + saving on a memory card. A missing manual does not necessarily mean fake (it can be lost). No working save via the memory card slot = possibly a burned disc.
- 5
Boot in a GameCube or Wii
A GCN disc loads on an original GameCube and on a Wii (in GCN compatibility mode on an original Wii). Boots to the title in 5-10 sec. Fake burned discs: often skipped frames in the intro.
What we see with GameCube games
Our experience
GameCube discs (2001-2007) are harder to counterfeit than cartridges. We do come across burned copies — recognisable by a white, blank disc surface with a sticker on it instead of printed artwork. We check the DOL product code, the Nintendo mark and the start-up in an original GameCube.
Our tip
GameCube discs only work on the original GCN console and on the original Wii (which still plays GameCube discs). The Switch and Wii U cannot play GCN. Saving is done via a memory card; we state whether one is included.
About this specific copy
This copy comes with its original box. A manual or inserts may be included, but we do not guarantee them.

About the Nintendo GameCube
The Nintendo GameCube (2001) is the compact purple cube that sold 21 million units — a modest figure, but with outstanding software. Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4 and Zelda: Wind Waker are GameCube icons that are still played today.
- 8 cm mini-DVDs instead of standard discs — a unique format.
- 480p component output for modern TVs on the first models — the original cable is rare and expensive.
- Well over 650 games released — a small library, high quality.
- The Game Boy Player accessory plays GBA cartridges on the TV via the GameCube.
Our tip: GameCube games have been rising in value for years, led by Super Smash Bros. Melee and Metroid Prime. Get in while it is still affordable — and the disc also plays on an early Wii with GameCube ports.
